Hierdie hofaansoek volg op die Mogalakwene Munisipaliteit in Limpopo se versuim om op 'n inligtingsversoek van Sakeliga te antwoord. 'n Hofbevel is op 18 Januarie 2022 in Sakeliga se guns toegestaan. Die munisipaliteit is gelas om finansiële en administratiewe rekords van die munisipaliteit tussen 2015 en 2020, insluitend tenderdokumente aan Sakeliga te lewer. Sakeliga het PAIA-versoek en hofsaak in samewerking met die plaaslike sakekamer onderneem.
Summary
This court application resulted from the failure of the Mogalakwena Municipality in Limpopo to reply to an information request by Sakeliga. A court order in favour of Sakeliga was granted on 18 January 2022. The municipality was instructed to provide Sakeliga with financial and administrative records of the municipality between 2015 and 2020, including tender documents.
